And this is the time for an emotional decision????

If there is ever a time for a rational decision, surely this would be it. Specifications, reliability numbers, availability of service reps and spares, past performance, cost… isn’t that what you’d want from a seller?

Maybe Caterpillar doesn’t have to worry about those “details” any more, but I don’t think you’d want to extend that thinking to B2B businesses in general.
